ITINERARY

LEAVE THE CITY FOR NOMADS

We will pick you up from your location in the morning and our adventure to explore Mongolian nomadic lifestyle deeply will begin. Approximately after 2 hours of driving, we will reach a nomadic family living in beautiful valley. After meeting the family members, we will be offered with our Mongolian traditional tea with milk and dairy products. While having tea we will have conversation with the family members to exchange our cultures and to get to know of Mongolia very well. In the late afternoon, we can walk around to enjoy the valley with beautiful mountains. Also, we will see how our nomads live and can help with their daily jobs. After dinner, we can learn our traditional game anklebone which is also called shagai. You can take good rest in the fresh air and soft wind without internet connection in mongolian ger.

A DAY IN TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we will shortly drive to the Terelj National Park, the most popular destination and the third biggest protected area in Mongolia. The area is combination of beautiful landscapes of mongolia and famous by its great shapes of rocks. Visitors can take leisurely strolls on meadows carpeted with edelweiss and a dazzling variety of other wild flowers, view fascinating rock formations against a backdrop of pine covered mountains and wander along the wooded banks of a mountain stream. We will see a famous Turtle rock and visit a local small temple Aryabala which is located in very peaceful location. After having lunch, we will go for horse riding for 1-2 hours and do some hiking in the nature.

VISIT CHINGGIS KHAN STATUE COMPLEX AND TRAVEL BACK TO ULAANBAATAR

In the morning, we will still have some time to enjoy the National Park. Soon after leaving the Terelj, we will get to Chinggis Khaan statue, the gigantic steel equine statue mounted by Genghis Khan himself is the largest statue of an equestrian in the world. The statue complex is located on the bank of the Tuul river at Tsonjin Boldog where according to legend, he found a golden whip. The statue is symbolically pointed east towards his birthplace. There is a visitor center on top of the complex is 10 meters tall with 36 columns representing the 36 khans from Chinggis khan to Ligden khan. After exploring the statue complex, we will travel back to Ulaanbaatar in the late afternoon. We will watch a beautiful folklore concert, have farewell dinner and take you to your location.
